Trip Philosophy & Experience
Because we got tired of our “great trip ideas” ending up in the group chat graveyard. Turns out, adventures are way better when they actually happen—and especially when you’re with friends who can laugh with you (or at you) when you fall in a river. We want to build a crew of fellow adventurers, people who know that every Fall and Spring means another epic story in the making. Plus, what’s better than looking back and saying, “Remember when we…?” (and having the photos to prove it)?
Think campfire vibes: supportive, laid-back, and always ready for a good story. Our travelers are friends (and friends-of-friends) who love nature, crave adventure, and are just as excited to swap embarrassing travel tales as they are to cheer you on when you finally conquer that hike. If you like high-fives, bad puns, and spontaneous dance parties, you’ll fit right in.
Nope! Even though we’ve got entrepreneurship in our blood, this is strictly a passion project. No sales pitches, no profit margins—just pure love for adventure and building a community. We’re not selling timeshares, promise.
Adventure & Physical Demands
Moderate adventure vibes. Expect about 4–6 hours of movement each day—hiking, scrambling, or rock crawling—with plenty of breaks to catch your breath (and snap photos). If you can handle a brisk five-mile hike with a daypack, you’re golden.
Yes, you should be comfortable outdoors and ready to embrace the elements. Don’t worry—we provide gear tutorials, route briefings, and on-trail guidance so you won’t be left guessing.
About 70% programmed adventures and 30% free time. That means plenty of chances to nap, journal, explore solo, or just stare at the stars.
For anything that requires real expertise—like canyoneering—we’ll have professional guides who actually know what they’re doing. For ATV and rock crawling, expect a safety briefing, helmets, and a guide who won’t let us drive off a cliff. For the DIY parts of the trip, just remember: we’re all friends here, not professional babysitters. Use your best judgment, look out for each other, and try not to do anything that would make your mom nervous.
Travel Preparation & Packing
Comfy, layered clothes (think quick-dry shirts, fleece for chilly nights, and sturdy pants)
Hiking shoes with grip + comfy camp shoes or sandals
Warm gear like a lightweight puffy jacket, hat, and gloves (because stargazing is magical but cold)
Sunscreen and sunglasses (sunburn is not a souvenir)
Daypack for water, snacks, and essentials
Personal items like toiletries and meds
Optional extras: journal, book, cozy blanket—whatever makes you happy
Pro gear for ATV tours, stargazing, and hikes will be provided by our expert partners.
Solo adventurers welcome! Come alone, leave with new trail buddies.
Plan to arrive by Thursday afternoon for the evening kick-off and depart Sunday afternoon or evening. We have the Airbnb booked through Monday morning for those who want a slow goodbye. Plus, depending on interest, we might add an optional Sunday afternoon canyoneering tour.
Yes, renting a car is recommended. We’ll also connect you with other travelers if you want to carpool and save some green.
We don’t book flights for you, but Kayak and Google Flights are your best friends here. After you register, you’ll get into the WhatsApp group where you can coordinate arrival times and rides.
Las Vegas and St. George are your closest options. St. George is about 20 minutes away, Las Vegas just over 2 hours from our place. If you’re flying private (fancy!), Hurricane airport is even closer.
Pricing & Refund Policy
Your trip price covers lodging, tours, park permits, group gear, meals, and snacks. Flights and car rentals are on you. Prices might wiggle a bit depending on group size, but we’ll keep you in the loop.
You send us the money, we wrangle the vendors, and you get to skip the spreadsheet headaches. Our mission: make group trip planning so easy you’ll actually want to do it again. We hope you’ll start thinking, “I’m setting aside $X a year for the best adventures with my favorite people.” We’ll collect full payment ( via venmo) upon confirming your spot in a trip.
We’re not a travel agency, so refunds aren’t guaranteed. Life happens, though, and we’ll do our best to help—whether that’s finding a replacement or canceling your tours. We handle these on a case-by-case basis with lots of understanding.
Lodging & Food
Hearty, healthy, and delicious! We coordinate all meals, snacks, and drinks—some at home base, some out on the trail. Fuel for adventure, basically.
Please tell us when you register. We want everyone to eat well and feel great
We usually rent a spacious, beautiful house. Early birds get first pick of rooms (private or shared). Latecomers get whatever’s left—fair’s fair. Check the Airbnb link on the homepage for room details, and let us know your preferences when you sign up.
Master suites have private bathrooms; shared rooms share a bathroom. Details are on the Airbnb link.
Group Culture & Expectations
Ten to fifteen people—small enough to keep things cozy and flexible, big enough for fresh conversations and new friendships.
The people joining are a fun mix from all our friend groups over the years—college pals (yes, the ones with the embarrassing stories), friends from San Francisco and Park City, and folks from our Conscious Leadership and Hoffman circles. It’s a crew that loves adventure, connection, and a good laugh.
The two trips listed on our site to Zion are Adult only but we are considering adding a 3rd tour which would be kid friendly. If interested in bringing your kids please contact us so we can share more info about the 3rd tour.
After the Trip
You’ll keep access to your trip’s WhatsApp group to keep the good vibes rolling. Eventually, we want to create one big group for all travelers to share stories, photos, and future plans.
Absolutely! We’re committed to doing amazing trips twice a year—one in fall, one in spring. Check the “Future Destinations” section on the bottom of the homepage to see where we’re dreaming of next.
